Who we are....
We’re a group of La Porte High School
alumni that is dedicated to keeping the spirit going. Each of us volunteers our
time to put together a reunion party that everyone can enjoy. Your ticket price
goes to covering the cost of the food, facility, decorations, entertainment, printing and postage for invitations.
After the August 12, 2006
reunion, we will publish a Commemorative Directory. It will contain contact information
for the classes of 64 through 69. It will also include pictures taken at the
reunion and comments or updates submitted by alumni during registration. The
cost of purchasing the book online is $35.
We encourage you to contact
us if you would like more information or are interested in becoming part of our group.
We can always use more help coordinating events, locating and calling classmates, folding, stuffing, trimming, gluing
- as well as assistance with the various tasks at the reunion. Creative minds
always welcome!
Who we are not...
We are not a part of the La Porte ISD Alumni Association. This association is on the LPISD web site and supports
and encourages reunions for all classes. They allow posting of notices on their site. They are a part of
the La Porte Educational Foundation and do not actually plan or host any reunions at this time. Membership in the
LPEF does not automatically include you in the mailing lists, etc. for the individual class reunions.
The LPEF sponsors an alumni directory published by Harris Connect. The directory covers ALL alumni of La Porte High
School. Because of the scope of the directory, it is difficult to keep it current and there is no room for
pictures, or comments. The cost of the book is $80 and must be purchased through Harris Connect.
